Axminster 100 Carpets are woven by Axminster Carpets Limited in the Market town of Axminster in the county
of Devon. They are made with a 100% pure wool pile, naturally the best
carpet fibre - so naturally called Axminster 100 - full marks for excellence.
The Luxury of 100% wool
Axminster 100 Carpets are made with a pile of 100% pure new
wool; special carpet wools - selected to give extra strength and resilience
to the toughest of footwear, yet retaining the gentle toe hugging feeling
of sheer luxury.
Mainly wools from pedigree British sheep are used, including the fleece
from Axminster's own flock of Drysdales.
